What a peaceful walk I took yesterday through Thomas Lake Park in Eagan, MN. The tranquil surroundings warmed my soul and my feet (it was almost a 2-hour walk)! I love how the trees frame Thomas Lake, giving it that picturesque feel. Also, I was lucky enough to catch a crane flying on a little pond next to the lake. These photos represent a lot of vibrant "greens" and not "purples" but that's okay. Green means growth, bounty and life, which can brighten anyone's day, especially when the sun is out and there's not a cloud in the sky!
I took these photos to remind myself how wonderful MN is in the summer because on those bitterly cold, below zero, dark, black as night, winter evenings, it is definitely easy to forget! Long live Minnesota summers!
