I haven't posted in a while and I think I know why. It's the title of this blog. In the last four years, it feels as if my life has been anything but peaceful. Perhaps this blog was an effort to try to achieve yet another thing in my life, another level of perfection. However, it has only inhibited my ability to write further. Also, the pressure to write about peaceful, beautiful subjects, forced me to write in strange metaphors that most people can not easily relate to. The metaphors put a wall up that distanced most from understanding my perspective. Now, I realize that I must be real and write about all of those strange, yet intriguing thoughts that pop into my brain. Perhaps as I work through these thoughts, I will develop my own perspective, my own voice. I'm almost there.
